Coping with the stresses of being a pilot

Being a pilot or airline employee can be stressful and poses unique challenges. For some, it is the shift patterns or sense of isolation in the work place. Even the most resilient people are affected by stress and personal problems. This can affect health, well-being, relationships and work performance. Brief psychological counselling can help to overcome problems quickly and effectively.

How does counselling help?

You will be fully involved in all aspects of the consultation. A careful assessment is made of your problems and realistic goals will be set based on proven interventions. The average course of counselling lasts between one and six sessions. More may be needed and this will be discussed with you.
